Call it what you may but I usually just stick to beer but as of recent I have taken a liking to Crown Royal Maple. I guess at 28 years old I still have time to get some culture in me.

Just think of it as adding something else to your list of things you appreciate.

Id like to appreciate some cigars but know nothing about them. Preferably ones that taste as good as they smell. Most times I ask people working in a tobbaco shop for recomendations, they are just as clueless as I am.

Well I gave them up some years back, but some of my favorite brands were Arturo Fuentes, Padron, Romeo Y Julietta, and Partagas.

Thompson Cigar is a pretty good place to experiment.

Macanudo cigars are hard to beat.
Cohiba is a good one too.9

Second that. I've got a couple of Cohibas sitting on my desk right now that arrived to me via Columbia. Probably counterfeits.
Before 9/11 I had a shop in Martinique that would ship Cubans. Edited by Raoul

The Prichard's Double Chocolate Bourbon IS an excellent bourbon. Sometimes after dinner, I'll mix it half and half with their Fudge Brownie Cream Liqueur for desert. It's fantastic.

Has anyone tried the jack Daniels Sinatra blend ?

I have a bottle of it but won't be opening it. What I'd like to do is find a bar somewhere or go in on another bottle with a group of friends and sit around sipping on it all evening. The latter may still happen.

if you find the Sinatra Jack Daniels don't let yourself get ripped off. It should retail for about 150 bucks. There is one liquor stoe in Turkey Creek with Sinatra that has a 500 dollar price tag on it. The stuff was severely allocated, not sure how much they bottled.

Most of the Sinatra will never see a glass.

There is a place in chatt that has it for around 150. I just cannot help breaking the seal on any bottle I bring home :D

I almost bought a bottle when it first came out but didn't do to that reason. Would not have lasted 2 minutes after I got home.

The price I saw on the bottle was $150.

we must have fielded 3 or 4 calls today with people looking for Sinatra JD. I laughed and wondered if any of them were from TGO members.

I'm sure it's good, but I believe I'll just pour another of this fine Dickel No 12.

Yes the barrel select is a wonderful thing. I just thought I'd try to thin the herd a bit. Edited by Raoul

Be sure to grab some weller 12 if you find it - outstanding bourbon from the van winkle folks. About as close to pappy you can get for a price that's reasonable - around $30-35 a bottle around here

over the years i just about tried about every brand made. back in the 70's and 80's there was not as many brands made that we have now. now we have a better selection. but i still keep coming back to old school. i like jack daniel's, jim beam, and george dickel.
