Prices and the gun market

The pawn shops in my area think their guns have gold in them.  The prices are high and they don't deal.   I just walk out.  When you can buy new over pawn shop prices then it time to walk.  Also the other items in store are priced the same as guns.

I've noticed older quality collector guns such as Colts, Smith and Wessons, 99 Savages, Winchesters, Marlins, etc. haven't taken a hit.

That's the because demand still outpaces supply.  The only things that have really seen any decline are current production.

I was going to quote your post and say same thing around here, but the I saw/remembered you are in the Chattanooga area too lol! You hit the nail on the head though, pawn shop prices around here are ridiculous. It reminds me going in a gun show and seeing the prices there! Especially considering the current market and how you can usually get a brand new version of whatever model it is for an insignificant amount more.

Edited to add: Hey look! Post 1234!

Geographic dispersity is a problem on this board. Who wants to spend a day and fuel to save some bucks?

Not sure what folks opinions are on my pricing is, though OP seems to imply I'm fairly priced which I intended. I put minimal time into researching each items resale admittedly. If someone wants something or wants to make an offer cool, if not I'll wait till someone does. We are looking to make a life change which would require me to find someplace to store my weapons and frankly I don't trust anyone with my ####. (says Francis) so I figure I'll sell and pick up again later if God permits.

The bumping is ridiculous. I've tried to minimize mine but if someone believes I've been gratuitous, please adjust my reality.

As far as the market, it is cyclical like everything in life.  Ride the wave...

Your pricing is MORE than fair! Its a straight up steal in my eyes. I know how much I have in my converted S12, and if I didnt have one I'd be all over yours!
