Recommend An Indoor Range?

I moved to the Bristol area about 9 months ago. The range I've been going to in Piney Flats has closed down. Can anyone recommend another indoor range in this area that doesn't require membership?

I'm in Johnson City. I went to that one a good bit. Barnett's Guns in Hampton may be the only indoor public one. It has still not reopened since the fire. It is supposed open in October.

Gun Rack in Kingsport is the only indoor range I know of in the area

O didn't know Barnetts had caught on fire. I haven't been in there since they first opened though.

Yeah back in Jan. the range burned down. I think the shop got damage too, but it opened back up in a bit.

I have never been. It is a lot farther for me and Piney was like $20 for unlimited time and Barnett's is maybe $10 per hour

Good to know. I was going to try there. The web site says they're staying closed Mon/Tue to rebuild the range, so I guess they're working on it.

Just to be clear, I don't know if it is handgun only or rifles too.

I may have to try there too. I am going to be closer to Sevierville in a couple weeks and I may try to go by Bud's

Buds is nice and you can shoot about anything you want. It's a little pricey. I've never shot there but my son has. I shoot at Sevier indoor when I get to go which isn't often.

Barnett's is finally open. They're saying insurance is making customers buy ammo at the range.

Looks like Shooter's Edge is trying to reopen.

That will kill Barnett's unless they have great ammo prices.

Where did you see that?

It was on their facebook post. I went last week and you have to sign paperwork saying such. I think it was about $20 for 50 rounds of .45 ACP. I rented a .22 and 50 founds for that was only $5.

Guess I'll be heading to Kingsport soon to see how that place is.

Was not impressed with Gun Rack. 😕

Looks like it may not. A facebook post yesterday said the bbuilding owner is demolishing the range last week of January if no one can buy the building from him. 😟
