Sounds like they screwed up and got caught. 

They have to follow the laws like everyone else.

Glad they are trading them to a local shop and not destroying them.  Gives us all the chance to purchase one or more of them.  Wonder which Pawn Shop it was?

While the article doesn’t make it clear, if these folks were unindicted and unconvicted, then we have another word for this.
