.357 Speer Frangible Review

Though I would give some of the other .357 sig shooters

out there a heads up about this stuff.

Speer 100gr. Frangible Range Ammo

My wife bought me a 250 rd box of this stuff for $60 bucks at Guns and Leather. Last week I ran 100 rounds of it through my USPc. Needless to say it ran flawlessly. I was concerned it might not function well in it but I was worried about nothing.

Right now you can get this stuff also from Georgia Arms in two ways:

.357 Sig Frangible (1000pk)

$220.00

.357 Sig Frangible (250pk)

$60.00

After shooting it I ran 20 rds of standard Winchester 125gr. Hollow points through my pistol as well. Couldn't tell a noticeable difference really. Both hit where I was aiming.

Needless to say this isn't intended for Self Defense, but in my opinion it makes a great plinking and training round. I'm really wanting to take the CIS defensive Pistol class this year, and ammo at this price goes a long way in helping me get there. ;)

I'm trying to gather up some scrap drywall and 2x4's to build a little "wall" box to see how this reacts to drywall. Just for the fun of it. :D

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up.
