Do you have a face for radio and a voice to match?  Do you like talking about guns?

Do you keep up with what's going on in the firearms industry, Second Amendment ecosystem, or realm of self-defense topics?

Are you one of those people who can carry on a conversation with a wall, but strangely enough people DON'T find you to be annoying (as far as you know)?

As many of you probably know, almost six months ago I started the Shooters Nation Podcast.  For 24 episodes, now, we have had the good fortune to bring on about 20 different very well regarded subject matter experts to spend anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours discussing a variety of very timely topics.  Each week we release a new episode for the sole purpose of making good people (like you) safer and better informed.

I am looking for a person or two to join my co-host, Mark, and I on a regular basis to talk about things that are going on in the firearms, Second Amendment, and self-defense circles as we bear down on the second half of our first year.

Depending on how well you integrate with us and our guests, and how much you enjoy it and how much spare time you have, this could be an occasional thing or it could become a very regular thing for you.

To date our episodes have been downloaded over 7,000 times and we have a very loyal core listener base of between 200-300 people each episode.  That may not sound like a lot, but bear in mind we're six-months old.  It's only going to keep going up unless we screw the pooch somehow.

SO...

If this sounds like something you'd want to try, it is a good way to talk with GREAT people like industry execs, famous firearms trainers, etc. and contribute to the greater good by lending your voice -- and most importantly your mind -- to the conversation.  The requirements are pretty simple:

  • Good personality, able to carry on a conversation.
  • If you're funny, even better!
  • An interest in our subject matter.  You don't have to be an expert.
  • Availability during week-nights.  We record at least one evening each week.  Sometimes two.  Usually Tuesdays.
  • Broadband Internet connection.

Send an email to shootersnationradio at the ole' GMAIL dot com and tell me a little about yourself and let's arrange a time for us to talk by phone.

That sounds like work is required.

I was once told I had a face that belonged on a milk carton...is that the same thing? Lol

Sounds like a fun time, but my scheduling would cause fits.
