Walmart...

That's typically my strategy as well. It's an added bonus that the garden center entrance is usually closer to the ammo counter as well.

The tire and lube area around back of our WalMart is the place to get in/get out. There's good parking, never a crowd, and both the automotive section and gun rack/ammo counter are just a few steps from the door.

My Sunday Ritual is to get up, perform my weekly yard maintenance, go to Walmart with my daughter and get items to grill for dinner in the evening. We stop at the Gamestop next door so my daughter can see Andrea, the manager and her girl crush.

Today involved a lot of driving around. We went to Costco to get stuff to grill, and then Kroger for the items I didn't need in bulk.

I will not go back to Walmart. It was frustrating last night when I stood and took stock of all the things that I get from Walmart. Just more of a hassle now, but we will be better for it. I am not putting myself or my family back in that position. We have been Costco members for years, my wife normally handles all of that. Sure, it was just as crowded with people dawdling in the middle of the aisles, but there were no bascarts drifting through the parking lot. Everyone put them back in the corral, just like I do... That was worth it all.

Your life will improve exponentially without WalMart.

I haven't completely sworn it off, but average going there about 2-3 times a year.

I'm still weaning myself down to 2-3 times a year, but yeah...life is so much better when you start cutting Walmart out of it.  The reduced wait time for a cashier at my local Publix alone is worth the extra cost.

Where do y’all buy cheap Chinese-made American ammo?

The internet.  And I get cheap Korean made ammo.  PMC for the win.

I get my breakfast items for work every week or so, I'm in and out in 10 minutes or so with the self check-outs.  There just isn't any store that can compete in locations and price.  The trick is not to shop at odd hours, know what you're after, get in and get out.

Ammo: I mostly order components from the net, including some from here.
