Bought my first 1911 today!! It a Smith and Wesson..I got it used, and it is cleeeeeaaannnnn...I havent taken a pic yet, but here is what it looks like.

Yes, don't do it.

One of the nice things about stainless is that you don’t have to worry about the finish.

I got it at my local range, it was on consignment.

I sat around messing with it last night, even my wife told me to leave it stainless...LOL..so I guess it will get new sights, and grips...

man, I gotta say, I am freaking addicted to it. Not good.

Crazy..I have a whole new set of bookmarks...I need to find grips that look good on stainless...I know I dont want the wood look...I like the greys and black two tones but cant find the design I like the most...

crap, I want them all...I need a new front sight... this is not going to be good on my bank account...

I also need a assload of 45 ammo...is the canned heat stuff any good from Georgia arms?

I've shot quite a bit of the canned heat and it goes bang every time.
