I'm an old sixgunner, Single Actions being my favorite.  Especially the Ruger Super Blackhawk.  Here are two of mine, a New Model and a Three Screw, both stocked in walnut, and worked over by Doug Turnbull:

The Super Blackhawk is, in my opinion, the ultimate Single Action revolver.

Did you change the hammers?  They look “right” not SBH.

Yes, i change out the hammers of Super Blackhawks.  The narrow spur affords a better purchase of my thumb.

It looks classic.  I traded into a beater SBH that shoots great so one day when I had time in the shop I pulled the grip frame, welded up the “Dragoon corner” and turned  it into a round trigger guard.  After a little touch up blue I swapped in a Blackhawk hammer for the more traditional SAA look.
