2005 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L V6 Front and rear heat/ac

The wife's front heater went out. I checked the front heater/ac fan fuse (40amp square see through fuse) and the front heater/ac fan relay module, black box. I actually switched an extra 40 amp fuse with no result and switched the rear heater/ac fan with the front heater/ac fan relay. The only two things I have left is the blower motor and a blower motor resistor pack that is behind the glove box at the firewall. Evidently this part corrodes and causes problems sometimes. Anything else I can do before I take it in? It should fall in the warranty, 5k left on it! But if I can fix it for less, I would rather do that.

Any suggestions?

Is it the switch that turns the fan speed on not working. If it is, both times on my two different vans it has been the resistor for the blower motor on the firewall. If it is under warranty let them fix it.

Yep the fan speed switch, won't turn on the fan.

Cheap part, seems hard to get too.

How do you take out the glove compartment. I'm sure I can figure it out, but I would rather know how instead of having an "Oh crap" moment and break some cheap plastic tab that holds the hole thing together...because if it to be broken, I'm the perfect one to do it!

most glove boxes usually have a clip that sticks up to make the box bigger than the hole it's in..look for a clip that is flexible and will allow you to move it and rotate your box out of its hole.

Thanks, I know that is an elementary question and you might think that I don't need to be messing with it if I can't figure it out, but I have not patience and for some reason thinks force is the best way to go about things, If I cant get something out like this easy, I will force it and break it:D. So I am actually thing beforehand, so that I don't cause breakage:D

working on it when you're sober would go a long way towards helping that! :screwy::D:D

On a mopar product, this is usually the actual switch in the dash (at least it used to be when I had my older dodge van). Easy way to find out is plug the rear fan into the front switch and if it works then it's either the blower motor or a relay under the hood (yea there is a bank of fuses and relays under the hood).

So I would need to get in behind the console area (radio/heat/ac controls to get to that, right?

The relays under the hood are good, I put the fronts on the rear, and rear on front, front still no work and rear still works.
