Very sad shooting event

The short version is that the little girl left the gun loaded and cocked while she went to look at the targets.  Mom's boyfriend went to make the gun safe and shot her in the head.  That is so completely careless that it makes me question whether it was an accident.

Absolutely a shame! Dude should not have touched it while she was down range. As well as many other failures here.

Such a sadly preventable tragedy.

The weapon could have sat there until the action rusted out of it, without incident. A lesson, hard learned. Hands off while people are down range.

Prayers sent. Many good oint already mentioned. Especially the ones about a gun that is not being touched while someone is down range. I also do believe it needs to be investigated long and hard............JMHO
