Hi All,

 I am in the midst of moving… actually let’s go with escaping… from California. With family in Georgia I am no stranger to the south, but I’m very much looking forward to living here versus visit.  I scouted out the Chattanooga and Knoxville areas including some real estate a couple weeks ago, but it looks like the influx of escapees like me have really helped y’all out with some home values based on the skyrocketing trend over the last six months to a year.

So for now we have secured a rental East of Chattanooga,  hoping for a slight correction. Wish we had done this sooner but it took me three years to talk the wife into this, so guess that is the cost of freedom and no grandfathering in based on intent to do it before it became popular.

My only regret in that is the direct impact on my gun budget! I stopped in at Bud’s near Knox, OMG....it reminds me of 30 years ago in CA before the Socialists took over and started on their path to a full firearms ban. Sooo many choices. Awesome!

Welcome. Moving sooner is always cheaper. We moved 3 years ago and saw a few examples of what we could have bought 10 years before, when we could have moved, and well hind site. Even the place we ended up with I could have bought from the original owner instead of the second owner in that time frame.
