Meet or don't meet

Why is it that some folks express an interest in something, want to meet, set a date and then don't respond when a confirmation is requested.  It's just downright rude.  Kinda chaps my hide.

Let one of the moderators know who it was.  They generally do not tolerate that kind of behavior.

Don't get it. Had a guy on another forum reply to the sale of my john boat I had that he wanted it. I PM'd him told him I could meet him in Smryna and then a day later he replies in the post that he sees that I am in Murfreesboro and he ain't dealing with them Murfreesboro drivers for nuthin. He lived in Hermitage.

Maybe he don't know how to drive with other folks on the highway. Hermitage traffic is just as bad if not worst than the Boro's plus you said you would meet him in Smyrna. .....JMHO

Some people are inconsiderate and self centered. I've found that on this forum, that is the exception and not the rule. Most I've dealt with here do what they say and say and are a pleasure to meet and deal with.

I have had to reschedulae a few meets here. I have tried my best to communicate with anyone I have done deals with and have found that every one of the deals I did folks did the same for me here. Never a problem. Now, other sales sites? Nope, not even close.

Yep.   Had an issue a couple of years ago with a seller that clearly backed out after full agreement of the sale terms.  I discussed it with the Mods and the decision was to leave Negative feedback to the seller.   If the person starts getting bad feedback, the problem will generally take care of itself by folks not willing to do business with them.

Tire kickers.  A common problem everywhere, and especially on the internet ...
