Carrying on a boat

Recommended Posts

My family loves to go camping. In the past, we have had friends with boats and that boosted the fun level by 10X. We are considering buying a boat now. I have held this decision off for years but now may be the time.

What are the restrictions for carrying on the boat? Understandably, most places we go are state parks and that would be out of the question unless the law changes but are there any other options and what restrictions apply there? We live just outside of Memphis so we could end up boating in Arkansas or Mississippi just as easy.

I am assuming that the answer is NO but wanted to ask.

MudBugjr,

Will it match a bi-tone XD45 Compact 4"?

We've looked at the Tahoe Q4 and Q5i at the local Bass Pro Shops. I would prefer to purchase a used boat but I'm just not knowledgeable enough to feel safe about it. I am highly mechanically inclined and very familiar with cars but not boats.
