Some friends just moved to Clarksville and asked if I knew any alarm companies. They contacted some and said the initial installation is too expensive on their Social Security budget.

Thanks for any help.

Well here is what you get:

You either get an alarm system that you paid for, and you pay a reasonable monitoring charge per year, and little or no contract. or

You get an alarm system that you pay 100.00 to install, no service when something goes wrong and at least a 36 month contract where they are taking out 34.99+ out of your checking account every month.

I own an alarm company and can tell you things about some of the "national" chains that will make your skin crawl, but I won't.

Where is Clarksville? (never mind, looked it up)

You Might try 3D alarm out of Franklin. Fella's name is Brian Dodd. He is a good person but you will have to pay for the system.

Yeah, they said they called some "national chains" that wanted around $1000 install plus a monthly fee. That seems outrageous but it is capitalism at work.

Pm me a layout of their home. I'll try and see what I can do.
