I was checking the weather forecast to see what the next couple of days look like and was surprised to see the word snow in tomorrow's forecast. Wind chills in the 20's and 30's :o

Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to weather. I get up in the morning, Look at thermomitor on the front porch and dress acordingly. If it's cloudy I might take an umbrella. Only Mother Nature knows what she has planned for us petty little humans.......

There's no such thing as enough winter to kill them off. Ever been to Canada or Alaska?  Winter just makes them bigger and stronger.

Yea I know. I was stationed in Alaska for a while and the skeeters up there ae big enough that one can land of each of your shoulders and then discuss whether to eat you there or take you with them. Back when I was just a boy up in Illinois age 6 it would snow in October and that snow would still be on the ground in March and all it did was add snow to it all Winter and skeeters was terrible up there too.......

Well, I didn't wake up to any snow but it's 33 deg. with a wind chill of 22. I hate to think what the temp would be if we didn't have this global warming

Light snow for 2 or 3 hours this morning in Northwest Tn., enough to whiten the grass and leave some buildup on the trees. Interesting weather we're having this "spring" ...

I’m done with this weather.  There is entirely too much yard work waiting that I can only take care of on the weekends.

I realize this is an old thread. I initially thought I was reading this wrong but it appears the south is about to get hammered with snow.

Asheville NC is predicted to receive 18". Even Greenville SC may get over a foot which they are describing as a "once in a generation" record.

Those of you in far East TN may have an interesting weekend.

My brother lives near Asheville and he said weather Channel has moved in and Jim Cantore coming Saturday. Be interesting to see what is actual and what they report. Lol. Friend in VA says they are forecasting 1 to 3 feet of snow Sunday and Monday.

In Kingsport, we’ve had everything projected this week from 1” to 9”. They have no idea. It will be temperature depend. Whatever we get will be a heavy, wet snow that will probably cause widespread power outages. The local power company is bringing in hundreds to assist the region.

Or, it may be kinda rainy on sunday. I’ll let you know my projection on Sunday afternoon haha.

  1. We had a slight dusting of snow here by Cumberland City, just enough to cover the top of my shooting bench, no other evidence it even happened.   Hope the deer move today, before the heavy rain beds them down. I'd like to save one from being drenched today. 😁

According to our local weather I was suppose to wake up to rain and cold. I got the cold for sure wind chiil right now is 33. I just looked at Radar and it shows rain and some frozen precip noving up from the south and is just reaching lower edge of Davidson county so should get up here to me in Sumner County about 4PM but is says it will be all rain. No wintry mix like weather man said we should get today. I guess I will just have to wait and see what I actually get when it arrives...................

Charlotte's airport handles a lot of air traffic.... including my connecting flight home Wednesday night.  I'll be monitoring this, thanks.
