It has been exactly 3 weeks and it is here. I went to the HCP class at 2nd Amendment Gun Shop 12-28-08. To the drivers license station 12-30-08. Fingered 12-31-08. It took 3 weeks and I have got my HCP. Now strapping on my Ruger P90. I should have done this sooner. Thanks, gearyr.

Congrat dude!!!...What holster did you go with for your P90? I got my new P90, and am having a few problems, but Ruger is taking care of me.

Well, I also made "the call" today. I was told everything was back and in order. The nice young lady on the phone said she would issue today, it should be in my mailbox in 7 -10 days.

I was fingerprinted on 12-31-08 and paperwork sent on same day. It's going to be a long week of waiting. It seems the turn around time is going fairly quickly.

6 months ago, pretty much unheard of to get it in under 60 days. Mine took 88.

Been waiting 41 days for mine here in Shelby County, finally called today and I was told "still being processed". Looks like all of you lucky folks in the smaller counties get them much faster, the S.O. here dealing with too many other "customers" I suppose.

My wife and I did the both at the same time. I got mine in 21 days and she has not got here yet. Days still counting. She has not call about and she said we where not going to call and see how long it will take to get it....

My HCP came today!!! I applied for it Dec,10th and got it today..Jan,28th.It seems like a long time. I hope the Hr 45 bill does not pass. IF it does it looks like the HCP is not any good any more.......

Well My HCP arrived in the mail today. It took 34 days from fingerprints to in my hand. WooHoo!!

Yes I understand that but I only mention it because we were told in our class that it goes to your county SO first for their check. Viewing this thread it did appear that smaller county residents got theirs faster.

I called Nashville two days ago and the nice lady that I spoke with said all information was ready on mine and that she would pass it on to the next person who actually completes the process. She said I should get it in 5-10 working days. Another ditto from others here. 50 days waiting---no complaint, just FYI for others like me.

Call and ask about it. I waited a little over 90 days and called on a Monday morning. They told me everything was ready and to expect it in 7-14 days. Came that Friday. Asked about my wife's at the same time and it came the same time mine did. I have heard stories of people getting them in 3 weeks after making the call.
