Just curious what other bow hunters are using for broadheads when hunting Turkeys?

I was thinking of trying the Rage 3 bladed version but I'm open to suggestions.

Well if I try it with a bow this year it will be with a Muzzy Phantom out of the longbow. I doubt I will try it unless I'm one away from my limit early in the season.

I'll have to give Muzzy's a try first,

Thanks for the photos hunting101, I need all the help I can get.

I'm looking forward to hunting this spring, although I have a feeling I'm going to learn about what not to do if I want to get a shot at a turkey.

Thanks again everyone!

Also when you shoot a turkey with a bow don't get in a big hurry to get it unless it drops dead. I shot one last year and it was flopping around I got out of my blind and ran up to it and the damn thing started to fly away. I chased that thing around for 30 minutes trying to shoot it again. My buddy was laughing the whole time and didn't even help. I felt kinda bad for the turkey. Come to find out I made a good shot but those birds are tough as nails. I guess you learn the hard way. I have killed several birds with my bow and that was this incident was the first. Just something to keep in mind. Maybe someone else on here has experienced the same thing.

Something else I didn't think about, thanks...

I hear Turkeys can be harder to hunt than Deer, so I don't have any great expectations from my first year of hunting.

Just wanted to say I gave the Muzzy MX3 100 grain broadheads a try and they shoot great!!

Didn't have to make any changes to my bow setup for them to be accurate as my field points.

Always a +1 when you don't have to tune your bow everytime you switch broadheads.
