Ok, I read it all and thought...at least he was working in a hospital. It's when I have to deal with the same crap, and I work at the airport...we can't tackle, tase or otherwise whip the azzez.

seriously dude...glad yer ok, I jacked my shoulders and had surgery on em both...left one 2x's....get better. Next time....batton to the neck I say!!!

That sucks man. They won't let ya'll do anything? We operate just like the police in our system. Obviously there are some differences and we're not commissioned officers, but we get a fair amount of training and gear. Dealing with psych patients, drunks, and just general riff-raff and disturbances you have to be able to go hands on in a hospital environment.

I'm not LEO either. I'm just Campus Security. They just let us do alot more, because we do protective custody of mental patients, criminals until they are properly transferred. Usually have an LEO with us if it's a convict, but psych patients are our problem until they go elsewhere.
