The Powerful NRA lobby?

Here are some of the top groups and what they paid in 2017 for lobbying. Feel free to check me on this. The NRA gave Senator Burr, of NC, $9900 and the media claims the senator is in their pockets. The NRA is pretty powerful, it's not the money that makes them so powerful, it's the 5 million+ votes they offer.

The line from the left these days is that the NRA represents firearm manufacturers and not gun owners, that's the biggest bunch of hogwash I've ever heard.

Do the lobbying costs include all campaign donations?  Seems to me like the NRA would contribute more than $3.2 million overall.    I may do some research on this if no one knows right offhand.

Thanks,

You guys stop bringing facts into the discuss, it doesn't fit the agenda...

Not following your comment.   You do realize that was a joke towards the anti-gun folks not willing to consider actual facts in the gun control discussion?

It's getting real tedious all this balleting about... Sooner or later, they are gonna jump on the last nerve and someone's finally gonna say "want 'em? Come get 'em. " and a try will  be made....

I agree, that number seems small. I wonder if that is just the NRA, not including the NRA-ILA? I’d say the vast majority of lobbying money comes from the NRA-ILA.
