It's almost worth trying at those prices. I just picked up a handful of lowers at Bud's yesterday. One is becoming a pistol in a few days.

What was Bud's getting for stripped lowers? Been trying to get a few, but local prices are not what I want and transfers eat me up on cost.

$50. AR Five Seven lowers were all they had in stock. The ones I got were consecutive and seemed clean. I have no other opinion as I haven't assembled them yet. I have only used PSA and Anderson lowers. I was wanting another Anderson, since they are made in Kentucky, but they didn't have any. But I drove an hour to get there, and I wasn't leaving empty handed. I will update after the build.

The reviews that I can find for them online all seem to generally be pretty positive. At those prices, I would say it’s worth a shot. In fact I’m probably going to order a kit or two myself as I’ve got some stripped lowers laying around.

Cabelas has stripped Anderson's for $49.99, but on 2 week back order and require store pickup. I have some on order.

What are you gonna do about the transfer to TN?

If they are transferred as Rifles, I do not need to.

Hope that works out for you.

He's ok IF they are transferred in as rifles.  No different than buying a rifle out of state in person.  If they are transferred as Other he will have an issue.

If really need be, I will complain and have them sent to Bass Pro where I can transfer them as anything. I think they said $15 to do that because of shipping. I should be able to get them all done for that.

I forgot to say, I am doing in store pickup on them.

I think all stripped lowers are "other" until assembled, that is why you should make it into a pistol first, then a rifle.  I would have them transferred to BP, many stores do that.

Heh, figured easter was the best day to resurect this post.  Just wanted to say i ordered a pistol upper and lower blade blade build kit from them on feb 27th.  It took a month to arrive, but i am very happy about the quality of the upper and parts, especially the trigger.  Very happy i bought from them.  Just took it to the range today, 200 rounds with no issues at all.

I did have to have the lowers transfered to Bass Pro. I hopefully can pick them up Tuesday.

I held off ordering from 22 Mods for all yet. Just had too much going on to deal with it. Good to hear the sets are good quality @foil7102 I hope to get to it soon.

The indoor range in Piney Flats does transfers with Cabelas.

Yeah, but since Cabela's told me wrong they sent them to BP for $15 with no transfer fee when I pick them up. So I just have a $10 bcc to pay.
