All is well here. However, the horse pasture is beginning to look more like a pig wallow.

I think the worst of it went north of us, into Kentucky.

I went to an equipment auction yesterday, and was afraid I'd lose a boot walking around in the muck.

I can't imagine what that lot looks like today.

We always have fearful nights, and days, when threats of heavy or continuous rains are in the forecast for the Nashville area, Due to low property, we have issues when more than 2-3 inches occur in a day or less span.

I(we) were very much agitated throughout this episode, but came thru ok. Just a soggy yard. But having flooded twice...ALWAYS watching and ready to leave. I keep a 2-3 day clothing bag in my car at all times. Trying to get my wife to do the same.

My weather radio kept going off every 5 minutes talkin about Tornadoes and heavy rains in counties to the west of Sumner but only mentioned Sumner twice all night. I'm not sure it even rained here last night. I think everything went north before it got here...............

No damage here though we had tornado warnings, and one apparently touched down around exit 8 in Clarksville.

A fun evening.  I was In Fulton, Ky. when the sirens went off the first time, the tornado in Union City was on the way.  Got out of there in a hurry headed home.  We had 2 tornadoes, the afore-mentioned one and another that went south of us by a few miles.  Power out for about 3 hours, lots of rain, but managed to dodge the worst of it this time.

I was puckered up for a bit sitting out in a gravel parking lot on the pipeline in Joelton, but all I got there was heavy rain. We live in Erin and I was on the phone with my wife at the time the system was coming through Houston county. She said the wind was really strong, and she heard something that sounded "different" while that was going on. Thank the Lord we made it just fine.
