SD9VE Trigger Guard Alteration

Recommended Posts

I was wanting to know if altering (file/cut) my trigger guard (up by where it meets the flat area) by a few mm would potentially cause an issue down the road. The laser sight I have would fit much better if I filed a 90% angle into the top front curve so the back of the laser would sit in it nicely verses the back 90% edge of the laser hitting on the rounded guard. Y'all's input would be greatly appreciated.

The only issue it would cause is with resale value.

I'm not concerned about that. If it were something like a Dessert Eagle then there would be no question. LOL
