Large metropolitan area that it is...

I am a member of ORSA and have a SOCCOM 16, and DPMS AR. I also have a Springfield Armory 1911.

Joe at Hero Gear has been bugging me to post something, so here it is...

As you can tell be the username I am a Mopar fan. I have a 1965 Plymouth not to mention various other MOPAR's in the family.

I am very impressed with the CZ-75 I just started shooting. If it had the knockdown power of the 1911 I would carry it...

Welcome to the forum, do not obsess with knockdown power, obsess over shot placement.

Enjoy this place, there are a lot of knowledgable people here.

Greetings and welcome to the group. I'm a member out at ORSA as well but I do most of my shooting at our school's range. We are hosting the June shoot there. You should see if you can join us.You'll find information here.

Welcome from Tipton County. Shot placement is the singally most important factor in defensive shooting.

9mm Luger and 45 ACP both make shot placement a lot easier than some other rounds...

Of course 22 and 9 short are even easier...

but the 45 still has the extra ft lb's to be noticed the first time.

9mm Luger has been my favorite round to shoot for a while and the CZ-75 has made it even better, but then I have no complaints about my Glock 26 either.

BTW blame Joe for getting me hooked on 1911's and giving up my 40 caliber Glock...

look into finding a EAA witness.

they're .45 and based on the cz 75 design.

oh, and welcome :D

if you get to a shoot up here in E. Tn, you can ask my wife to let you shoot her witness....its pretty impressive!

:D

Thanks the EEA witness Joe has at Hero Gear is a 9mm I think. I didn't know they came in 45.

Oh and thanks for the plug Joe, my wife will appreciate it.

Wes, just so you know, CZ also makes the CZ97B, which is basically your 75 chambered in .45ACP. I'm pretty sure I know a local shop where you can get one, sorry if I added to your list...

If I brought you a raw rib-eye... would you cook and serve it to me?
