Money bomb for NRA on 3/24

Just made my donation online.  I decided to up my planned contribution by $5, to $30.

I was amused that the online response page apparently hasn't been updated since the 2016 election; it still offers thanks for the support in defeating Hillary Clinton.  :)  Yep, been there.

Cheers,

I just signed up my 12 year old Grandson and his 23 year old brother with 2 year memberships. I call them both and told them what I was going to do and they both said great and I ask each of them which magazine they wanted to receive. I think they will both receive a duffle bag also but not sure............

Just joined GOA. As a life member of the NRA, I think my money is better spent with GOA than the NRA. Strangely enough I am starting to think that the NRA is more geared towards the manufacturers than the citizen. The stupid part is, the more you gear the organization towards the citizen, the better off the manufacturers are.

The manufacturers need consumers, so it all kind of goes hand in hand. Anyway, kudos to you and everyone who financially supports pro second amendment organizations.

Look, GOA is a good organization, and I do think they may be support the 2A more than the NRA but the NRA is the 500lb gorilla in the political arena, it's just that their more Grape Ape than King Kong many times.  The NRA, GOA, or any other pro 2A organization can't stop the ATF from doing anything in the next 30, 60 or even 90 days, it's up to us gun owners to comment when they open it up for comments, as they must before enacting.   Just as they backed off the green tip ammo, they will have to take us into consideration if we come together and fight as one.

I agree with you. If it had just been up to GOA to defend the Second Amendment, there wouldn't be one right now. The NRA isn't even close to perfect. But, THEY swing the big bat. Nothing against GOA.

Split mine $ between NRA-ILA and GOA.

Maybe read a few media stories on the March or watch it before you donate. Guaranteed to up the amount you muster!

I wonder if I paid for one year memberships for say, Anti-Gun groups (You name the group), ACLU, etc. and supplied local office or home office addresses to receive the magazines and of course complimentary caps or duffel, if it would help toward educating them as to the realities of gun ownership and the 2nd Amendment.

NO, save your money. You'd gain more by sending it to me.

I'd be interested to hear how much was donated to the NRA today.

I wonder if it will be reported with the same glee and energy as the march today.

Signed up wife and 3 sons two weeks ago.  Wife got her NRA bag two days ago.  She will be using it on a trip shortly just "because".

The NRA is a black hole with zero accountability. Whatever the fantastic duo, Wayne and Chris, publicly state may or may not be actually true.

How come the NRA membership be always be around 5 million, yet we hear constantly that a record number of people are signing up. Either people are leaving the NRA at the same rate they are joining, or the numbers simply don't add up.

I am a Life Benefactor Member and have stopped donating to the NRA. I would like to know what they spent my money on. It certainly wasn't to fight the City of Knoxville against the gun ban in Chilhowee Park. They certainly spent it on Dana Loesch's "clenched fist of truth" videos.

I didn't sent my money to the NRA to cave on the very few gun rights cases the NRA actually pursues, make backroom deals that trade away my freedoms, produce culture war videos, and pay hefty salaries to the fantastic duo.

The NRA has to change. That change should start with the departure of Wayne and Chris.
