....WHEREAS, the Tennessee Gun Owners forum is an unparalleled source of TN-specific firearms information; and

....WHEREAS, the aforementioned forum is thus frequented by numerous individuals with a keen interest in protecting their right to keep and bear arms; and

....WHEREAS, these individuals are quite likely to pay attention to RKBA-related news stories and other information; and

....WHEREAS, it is statistically unlikely that any single individual will be the first to start a thread on an RKBA-related new story they just found, particularly by virtue of a forwarded email; now, therefore

....BE IT RESOLVED BY...umm...ME that any individual wishing to post such an item shall henceforth make use of the search button prior to starting any new thread. The consequences of failing to abide by this resolution include, but are not necessarily limited to, ridicule by fellow forum members, locking of threads by moderators, and gratuitous references to tinfoil.

Understood, but Pursuant to Rule #3 of the Second part. Under 39-17-4008 you must post a TCA sign on each thread notifying the poster that they are in violation of said part. Notwithstanding the fact that they have heretofore violated subsection D of the 5th part.

Thank you.

How about instead of politely posting a link to the existing thread, we post numerous FAIL pics? Or ugly minger pics?

Management has approved and established the appropriate emoticon for such occurrences, please use when appropriate and often.

Yeah, and Congress is gonna remove term limits for president so Obama can be king.

And Obama just revoked National Park carry.

And Obama openly shows AWB on agenda on his website.

How come these aren't being talked about?

Truth be told, if you think it's bad here, you should see the situation at thehighroad.org. I've started compiling links to every thread I see about the urban policy blurb on Obama's site, and every time I see a new thread, I just post the list of links in there. I'm up to about 15 now.

I'd post a version of this resolution over there, but unfortunately the sense of humor at THR is a bit deficient.
