Looking for a metal shop

So, I want to get a brush guard for my car. But no one makes a good one. Anyone know a metal shop that could fabricate me one?

This car needs more character. It is still lacking. And there are more lights waiting to be installed.

Wish I had that much garage space! I need to get it cleaned out this year.

I wish too. Thats the shop where I work at. Brought the car in to install the lights. I cant get anything in the garage. Bel air takes up too much space.

I think you posted the wrong picture; that’s a picture of a Subaru. ;)

Better and cheaper than a jeep.

I've seen lots of LEO cars with the pushbars/brush guards on 'em, ask them.

Im looking to have one made so I can mount a winch. So, the police style bars wont work.

Now that you mention it, I need a boat.

I suspect having a shop make one will be cost prohibitive. I'd guess an aluminum one that won't weigh 400lbs will be $2000 or so.

And there might be a reason why there's no aftermarket parts available. I'm guessing that mounting one will require body modifications.

They do. Overseas. Most wont. Ship to the states. Thats the problem.

I love it! That's great! I'd drive it around the neighborhood and wake up all those rowdy party guys that don't let me sleep!

Sounds like a great project for you to learn (or brush up on) your welding skills.

Im not allowed near any of the shop welders nor allowed to start fires on premises again. I would buy a welder, but I have no room to store it.

Its as simple as calling around to metal fab shops.. I would first try to find out if you can hang  that much weight off of your front without any problem..

I dont know that many shops, and I want to mount it to the chassis for weight purposes. There are plently of mounting spots under the car.

Growing up there was a guy around with a 4x4 Camaro and El Camino. My FIL converted his conversion van to a 4x4 to use hunting years back. All kinds of crazy crap around.

Had it reached 88 mph yet?

Sadly, no. Also, there was no reactor on the back of it :(
