Looking for a utility type shell  (one with doors on the side as well as the back) for my 2006 dodge ram 1500. Figured I'd start here to see if anyone else has one they need to move.

There is one just like my ARE I have on my Tacoma on the way from Pikeville to Crossville. I will grab the number next time I am going that way and let you know if it fits. I think I saw a Dodge in the driveway so it may.

Ah, I was in the same boat and have found one like you seek. It also has a roof rack and tool boxes. Oddly enough I was going to sell my truck but have recently decided to hold on to it for now. If that changes anytime soon I'll let you know.

Im sure you know that the Gen 3 Dodge has an odd size bed. It's curved by the back window and 2"narrower  by the tailgate. It took me over a year to find a used one that actually fit but I had to travel to get it. If you're in a rush, buy new. If not search far and wide and you should find one. Good luck!

That weird dimension is true on the Tacomas as well. Then of course they changed it from model year 15 to model year 17. When we traded they had changed it and the topper would not fit. The back door was too long and hit the tailgate. So while trying all kinds of ideas to make it work my kid asked me "Why not just cut 1/2 inch off the bottom". So took the door off and used by dewalt circular saw. Cut off 1/2", put a new seal on bottom and some molding over the cut. Worked awesome.

I am headed up to Crossville tomorrow so I will take a look at the one there. What year and model is your truck?  Never mind I saw it.

No was there and no number. There is a Dodge pickup in the driveway. It is in Crossville. Just going out of town on the south side on East side of hwy 101.

If I get up there again I will try and get you a number.
