Got a good 4" or more on top of the ice left from Friday. Looked out my dining room window and another car stuck at the end of my road. Neighbor up the road from me, slid off into ditch, two wheels off the ground, don't know if tractor will pull it out or not, went down and plugged tractor up to warm up and we shall see. Hate this mess. Loved it when was young would be out rabbit hunting all day on a day like this. Life goes on, everything changes.

We have at least 2" or 3" on the ground and it is still snowing at 10:30 here in Lascassas TN. Supposed to snow until 1:30. Rutherford County Schools are out, and most probably will be tomorrow. We have 3 grandkids today. Just fed them breakfast and planning lunch. You know children, if their awake they are hungry.

They tried to build a snowman, but the snow is too dry and powdery. Wife's shiatsu dog is loving the snow. I told them not to eat the yellow snow!!!!

I would guess we have close to a foot total in Northwest Tennessee since Friday, although there was some melting (or rather sublimation) over the weekend. Biggest snowfall here in several years ...

Sikeston, Mo and Dexter got approximately 7- 8” of dry snow yesterday and last night. MoDot has I-55 almost clear from St Louis to Arkansas line. KFVS tv at Cape Girardeau forecast 1-2” of snow for that one but front stalled over SEMO and apparently West KY and NW TN.

Don't know the official count here, but I'd guess 6" or 7", total.  First three had just been cleared, well somewhat, from the roads when the rest hit.  Luckily many places were closed, including the base so traffic was light, but still had a few folks off the road.  I don't know if it is Clarksville's intention to leave a layer of snow on the road, as some places do, but there was a major difference between here and Oak Grove, KY., when I drove out this morning.

We got a whopping 3/4" here in Loudon County. Ironically, the roads had more snow than the yards. I can't imagine what my next utility bill is going to be. It's going to hurt!

Here in East Nashville, we got about 2". But it's been so cold. I keep the thermostat at 67-68 during the day and about 65 at night. Last bill was 280 something.

I'm not looking forward to the next one either.

35.43% of people nearly died in Cleveland over the previous 24 hours. Snow. It’s a wonder we even survived at all.

We get a dusting of snow and people loose their minds around these parts.  Others that see plenty of it, put it to good use.

We used to do that outside the windows in Hokkaido Japan,  15' of snow in some areas there.

We ended up with 4" and our road is still a solid sheet of Ice. Had to go out to the Dr yesterday and main roads are clear, just secondary roads are a mess. Looking forward to the thaw and almost 60 degrees they are predicting.

It is 0 here in Lascassas this morning(Thursday). I live in a very low spot and it is always 2 degrees lower than higher ground. My heating bill will be out of site also, but I am going to stay warm as long as I can pay the bill. Sweetie, and I  wants it set on 71 when we are up.

Stay warm.

Not because of the added warmth, but my wife and I have found that with our breathing issues, 67-68 is about as warm as we can stand it. Took several years for us to get to this stage, but we've acclimated to it.

BTW, it's 15 here in East Nashville this morning. So stay warm and safe buddy. I have to drive my wife in to work daily for a while, and the only place we have trouble is little grade at the end of our street. and of course, there's a stop sign at the top of the grade. Perfect.
