@MrsMonkeyMan2500 made me aware that we lost a member this week - @Mikefite.

It appears that he had a heart attack while driving, and was killed in the accident: http://www.wsmv.com/story/37220689/police-one-person-killed-in-i-40-crash

While I've not seen an official obituary, many of you are no doubt familiar with his amazing work as an artist - some probably proudly wearing his tattoos.

There's a reddit thread here.  We'll post more as it becomes available - including possible ways to donate to his family that meant everything to him.

Your thoughts and prayers for his family in the coming days are appreciated.

That really sucks.  By all accounts he was one of the best tattoo artist around plus he always had really cool guns.  Will keep his family in our prayers.

Sad to hear. It doesn't look like he was very old either.

His 43rd birthday would have been Saturday. Gone far, far too early.

Prayers and condolences for his family. Death has no respect of age. Any of use could be gone in the next second. Try to live our lives accordingly.

Man that's sad. He seemed like a great guy with awesome taste in firearms.  His shop was over here in Donelson, I think.

Condolences to his family. Again guys, make sure you get check ups! I hate seeing notifications like this as do we all!

Wow, much too young.  Sad to hear about this kind of stuff, makes one's own expiration date seem much closer.

Very sad to hear this. Never met him but we shared a love for fine firearms and lots of facial hair :).

Prayers sent

Condolences to his family and friends. Hope they remember the good times to offset the feelings of loss.

Hello, Mike’s wife Lisa here. As I go through and close out and memorize as many accounts as he had, it’s really lovely to see all the condolences here. He LOVED his guns and the community he found here and on other forums. Thank you for all your kind words. He was a great husband, father, friend and Tattooer. He’s so incredibly loved and missed.
