Not only is this funny... it is deceptively clever. Almost too clever for mere mortals. It is filled with symbolism... allow me to break this down.

"Peanut Butter Sandwich" = A staple of the free lunch program...

"fruit roll up" = The fruit choice of those that have worked hard and can afford it...

"Cindy" = A subtle reference to Cindy McCain, John McCain's wife.

So in other words... if you will trade relying on handouts, and take responsibility in life you too can enjoy the "Fruit" of your labors that this country has to offer. Only then will you be comfortable announcing your admiration and affection of what hard work and success bring you. (ie. Cindy)

Suddenly celebrities who for the last 8 years took every opportunity to denigrate the President are calling for unity. Dissent, just last month the "highest form of patriotism" is now evidence of juvenile behavior at best, treason at worst. Flag waving (well, modified with pictures of the glorious leader) is suddenly popular with the unwashed who've spent the last eight years burning, stomping and defecating on them.

People who have no excuse for their self-delusions are claiming that Obama isn't anti-gun, won't work against the interests of the Republic, and isn't really a socialist.

People who've spent the last 8 years coming up with "Chimpy Mchitlerburton" and similiar gems are suddenly upset at the thought that anyone might play the same game with their chosen one, and decry the disrespect to the office of the President.

Suddenly, the 52 million or so Americans who voted against Obama are the inconsequential lunatic fringe.

So, is this how the Jews felt in 1930's National Socialist Germany? There were 7 million of them, there are a lot more of us lunatic fringers - and having seen the results, there is no way I'm turning my guns over to the state. Not, of course, that that would ever happen, right?
