TN Dept of Safety Tease

I took my handgun class right before Christmas and got finger printed, etc right before new years. Tracking my application status online, I was approved Wednesday night at some point last week (3rd into the 4th) and the online page said I'd receive my permit in the mail within 10 business days. Today, I went home on my lunch break to get a bite to eat and decided to check the mail. There it was... the envelope from the Dept of Safety and Homeland Security had arrived and only on the 3rd business day. Giddy with excitement, I ran inside and opened it up to retrieve my prize only to find it was just a copy of the class completion certificate.

Well, damn. Lol

That happen to anyone else?

Not so bad, when I got mine in 2008 it took 77 days to get it from the time I sent everything in.

OP talking about course cert., not the permit.
