What guns, gear or training are in your crosshairs for 2018?

No more gear or guns unless I sell more crap I don't use. Training again is going to be key. Planning on attending immediate action medical at Tactical Response, combative pistol with Dave Spaulding, and a pistol class at Hill Top. Other than that I'm getting off my ass and getting in the gym so I can be harder to kill.

More range time, haven't shot much the last few years. Have several rifles and pistols that need some exercise, along with me. Need to speed up my reflexes, lose 30 lbs so when I turn sideways will not be such a big target.

  1. Training with Randy Harris and Tiger McKee's carbine training.
  2. Get back into competition--haven't been competing for several years.
  3. Still on the search for the best sights for my seasoned and experienced eyes.  RMR's are looking better every year.

Also want to train with Randy Harris. I've been meaning to for awhile

Take a look at the Ameriglo CAP sights, also the Truglo TFX Pro.

I just installed the Ameriglo CAP sights on my Glock 17 a couple of months back and they are impressive. Makes me enjoy shooting it again.  I'll have to check out the TFX Pro's.

I use them for competition & carry. The fiber optic part helps in daylight. I just put the CAP on my M&P and also far like them.
