Independence Ammo?

Anyone had a bad experience with this brand misfiring? Bought a couple of boxes of FMJ 9mm, 115gr. Had a misfire about every 7-10 rounds. Fairly cheap in price. 11.99 for a box of 50.

I've only shot a couple boxes, but had good luck with it. What were you shooting it in? Light primer strikes? Did you do a secondary strike on any that didn't fire?

I think coal creek doesnt allow its use, check with JWP

$11.99/50 of 9mm FMJs is way to much to expect anything but a bang when you pull the trigger. Personally, I stick w/ WWB and Blazer Brass, for plinking anyway.

Independence is by Federal.

Stay away for the American ammo.I soaked two boxes in oil so I could dispose of them.

It's Independence ammo for sure. Using a pretty new S&W M&P 9mm, standard size. Have only put thru ~350 rounds, but it wasn't on the Indy. Trouble began as soon as I opened the first box. A couple I retrieved had light strike marks. Jammed it good one time. Guy at range thought it could use a cleaning. Seemed to think that was the real issue. Going to do so tonight.

Yeah, 11.99 sounded kind of cheap to me too when I bought it.

11.99 for 50 9mm seems kind of high to me.

Blazer Brass at Wal Mart is 8.97 for 50.

I've never seen rounds that look that crappy right outta the box. I's stay away from them and head to Wally World. Blazer Brass or WWB.

Independence is just as good, I just don't see it anywhere for as cheap as WWB or BB.

No. Didn't mean that to be a comment on the American ammo at all, just opining that Independence is of equal quality to WWB and/or BB.
