i really like this alot!!! i wonder what the accuracy would be like? i gotta find a way to come up with $1400 bucks quick!

I would not worry about coming up with it "quick" Lol it might be 9 months before the first one leaves the factory.:)

It shouldn't be any shorter really than the 16" STG-556 I have. I am fine with that one so I think that I can decide what I do or don't want. I use the STG as a patrol rifle and it works fine for that.

If I really want to go .308, I will pull out the 16" FAL Para and use that instead.

Where do you "patrol" with your FAL?

As far as length is concerned, I dont think anyone (including myself) is telling you what to buy or not to buy.

The point was that had Kel-Tec gone with a 16" barrel on this particular rifle, it would have lost the very balanced feel it currently has, and would have felt "too short"

I would suggest that you wait until you have a chance to put one of these in your hands rather than basing your opinions on 2D images found on the web and in print.

There is a lot to be said about having hands on prior to deciding that something needs improvement or how something should have been engineered.

And speaking of "short" .308s, here is my full auto 11" FAL

You don't need that junky old FAL... You should probably just give it to me. Hell, you can even keep the ACOG.

why would use a

Keltec? Just get a .308 bolt action if you want accurate. I could see where a shorter barrel than 18" would be useful. Don't get me wrong I like the Keltec, I'd just rather see it in 5.56 or .223.

You need new pics by the way, ones with guns not muscles

Yeah I really think the 18" model will be the better seller of the 2. I bet they went .308 due to that caliber not being as commonly used in a bullpup config. Im sure a 5.56 will be in the works if it does well.
