This is the one to be bored at.   I am at Milipol (a Military and Police Homeland Security Conference) in Paris (not TN :usa:) this week bored out of my mind.  So I figured I would show a few pics of the toys on display.  It's the first day so I haven't really taken much time to really look at things, but will over the next few days.

My Favorite first.  This dog was incredible.  Remote voice commands and cameras on his goggles.

Damn, that is way cooler than the only military conference I've been to. Although I've seen some stuff that is probably there, we had no firepower.

If if you're bored, you're doing it wrong :)

luckilly I was in a country with the best bier in the world! Have fun with the snails and wine. Haha

Live fire demos?

I wonder what the marketing guys at Beretta were thinking when they rolled out their heavy 50 BMG rifle and named it after a genus of black birds, like crows and ravens and such?

What, not enough .22's to keep you interested?

Exactly. Everyone knows 22’s are where it’s at! [emoji3]

At least there was a dog.

I was also wondering where they came up with that name.  These two entries from Wikipedia caught my attention.

In Irish mythology, crows are associated with Morrigan, the goddess of war and death.[62]

In Islam, according to a narration in the Hadith, the crow is one of the five animals for which no blame is placed on the one who kills them.

Yea, I like that; but on the flip side a bunch of crows is called a Murder

And the origin of that is cool too!
