Anyone know of any reason "city squirrels" would not be fit to eat?

I want to clear the yard of some critters, but would hate to waste the meat.

not now. in the summer though they get parasites in them and none are fit to eat safely, but there is no difference in city squirrels and country squirrels. just dont get caught shooting them. (illegal discharge or firearm in city limits)

I've heard that a 32oz coke bottle taped over the muzzle acts as a silencer for a few rds of 22. But that is illegal and highly discouraged.

Would be difficult to use the front site with a 32oz bottle taped to he muzzle.

You probably mean "wolves"? (bot fly larva)

While gross looking, these have no effect on squirrel meat, are not in the least harmful to humans (or generally, even to the squirrel).

You first!

I'll take em, preferably already skinned.

Need at least four, though, to make it worthwhile for pot of squirrel and dumplings.

Will also take city rabbits and doves.

Good idea to wear rubber gloves when skinning squirrels, rabbits, or rodents to prevent against tularemia.

Learn to make and use a wire snare, no noise and you can catch more than one a day until they are gone.
