Definitely worth checking out just for their selection. They have lots of different long guns, especially some C&R/Milsurp rifles. Good selection of handguns too. I haven't been there since September, though.

Prices? I can't give you a real accurate comparison between them and the Memphis gunshops, but Brighton's always seemed reasonable. Back in July they had a Saiga 308 (wood stock and 21.8" barrel) for $415. It's now in my safe. IIRC, at the time they were going for about that much online. I felt I got a good deal. They're no WalMart, but I'd say their prices are pretty good.

They have an indoor range where you can shoot just about any kind of rifle, but they have that metal siding around the booths (you know, the kind with the little x's on it) and it'll about blow your ears off.

All in all, a good place. I get up that way every now and then for work, and I plan on stopping in there again soon.

The last time I was there, (about two weeks ago), they had very few new handguns in their cases. Obama has helped them sell off their invnetory.

Planning on going there tomorrow. Just window shopping.

I bought my Glock 30 there used 5 years ago. Before they had moved to there new location, (there name was still listed as "Jim's Guns and Junk).

They have a good selection of long guns, and they are usually friendly. i have called and talked to a lady once that wasn't very friendly, but that happens from time to time.

Excellent place, and great people to deal with. They WILL deal with you fairly. Mind you, I've been buying and selling guns for 25 years, and the dealers who will just flat out treat you decent with no bs is RARE.

Their inventory got cleared out pretty good the last couple of months of last year...folks were buying stuff quicker than they could get it in. They told me literally that some stuff was only on the shelves for 15 minutes when it was sold.....

I was in there in early December, and there were a LOT of people in there....you had to wait for the staff to get to you, and they weren't short on staff. The thing is, all of those people weren't in there looking...they were BUYING.....myself included...

As stated above, very nice people to deal with. I took my HCP Class out there. Intructors were knowledgeable and professional.

Great selection of long guns and just like alot of other place, can order anything.

Been there once, they knew I was only looking because I was driving through the area, the ones that I had contact with were very nice and asked me mulitiple times if I needed help, just ask. There was an older guy, a veteran, that kinda stayed close to me and talked while I looked. It was great talking with him. That is my only experience.

I'm not sure about ammo prices but the prices they show on the gallery of guns link is not the price in the store. I went up there thinking I could get a gun at one price and they had it price higher. I didn't mention the lower price online so I don't know if they would honor it or not.
