Unfortunately it was with my truck tonight. Stupid mfing deer. Had my truck for just under two years and not one scratch or door ding until tonight.

Now that I live in the country the first thing I did is put a deer whistle on my vehicles. I know some people poo-poo them, but I've watched the deer react to our vehicles coming down the road, and I see them run the other way. One young buck sort of shook his head like he was taking a WTF double take, then shot off away from the car. :)

I've worked a lot of deer crashes. I'd take yours any day from the ones I've seen. At least yours is just cosmetic and didn't involve the truck being disabled. I hate it for ya though.

I was actually pretty lucky. If I had been in a car it would have been bad. My truck is in the body shop now so everything will be back to normal soon.

I finally got my truck back after 3 1/2 weeks. There was a lot more damage than you could tell by the pics in the op. The final total was...

Insurance paid for all of it except $500. I will definitely be trying to get some revenge on some of his brothers and sisters this season.

Not quite so. Where do you think the insurance company gets their money?
