Bug out

Was in a customers employee only dinning room, heard men and women screaming "O my God, look how BIG it is. So I had to go look and found this running over the floor. Man it was fast, covers feet in seconds! So I caught him, and my chickens had a small meal. The bug did not last 2 seconds. It is about 1.5 inches long.

Ok Snakes, rats, or spiders don't bother me a bit but those NASTY CRITTERS make my skin crawl

That looks like a Palmetto bug....the state bird of Florida.....and yes, they do fly!

Lived in south FL for a few years as a kid, I know what a palmetto bug is and that is not one. It ran like a roach and looks like a roach. The funniest thing is how men reacted to it, screamed like a girl.
