Why are Schools closed today ?

The schools can deal with the German Field Coat I wear and the Radio Bag that I use for a backpack. Which is pretty much a somewhat short trench coat and a large backpack that is NOT clear.

Well, I grew up in a far different climate than most of you, (North Pole, Alaska.....I know, I know....really....look it up) an in the entire time I spent growing up, school never once was canceled and only one period of time, 4 days, school was made OPTIONAL. The temperature got down below -40F for 11 days in a row, and reached a coldest temperature of -72F. The reason school was optional? Ice fog was so bad that the school buses were getting in accidents. Granted, the climate is a bit different there, so we were a bit more prepared for chilly weather. I laugh whenever they mention a school closure......
