New forum feature: Clubs

If you haven't noticed it yet, I enabled the new "CLUBS" feature of the forum software this morning.   Right now only I can create clubs but I will look to expand that some as we all come to understand how the feature works and can be used for TGO.  You can check them out here:  TGO Clubs.

Please feel free to use this thread to suggest new Clubs.  I've started us off with some Clubs that relate to the major cities / metropolitan areas in Tennessee to act as rally points.  I'm already thinking of some things like...

  • Reloading / Casting
  • Competitive Shooters

I like it. I miss the old forums like reloading and such. this will better even better. And if all else fails we can set up a meet and greet.

The Ammunition and Reloading forum is still there. It doesn't seem to have the "Obama's coming for your guns/300 Blackout" traffic. Clubs could be great.

Maybe we could carpool :D.  Safety in numbers if we have to pass through Memphis proper.

I seem to recall another type of club or forum. But I'm old and I'm Prob. wrong.

We had "Social Groups" a few years ago but it was an add-on and not native to the software.  This stuff is built in.

I hope joining a club is not a requirement to be a member cause I'm a shooter and not a clubber...................

As long as you don't become one of "The Club Kids" you'll be alright.

You just won't get a free key ring or secret handshake.

Didn't Groucho Marx once say: “I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members.” ?

And no secret decoder ring?! Balderdash!  ;)
