Lab puppy needed/wanted

Recommended Posts

We recently lost our basset hound. We got him when my wife and I got married, and little man has had him his whole life. We are looking at getting a chocolate lab pup. Our son and other dog are lonesome.

I don't know where to look for dogs anymore, there not in the Tennessean or on Craigslist anymore. Does anyone know of a person or breeder with labs?

I bought a chocolate puppy from http://www.aldermanslabs.com/ about three months ago. So far he's a great pup. They are located in Dana, Kentucky but they had the most reasonable price for what I wanted. In my area chocolate pups are selling in the $ 1,000 + range.

My labs are black. And mixed. Bandit came from here on the site, and is the best dog ever. Brigand was a rescue from a shelter, and she is a good dog. You wouldn't knew they weren't full lab unless told. They are great pets and I would be lost without them.

Cookeville's animal shelter has a lot of amazing dogs. There were 3 labs there when I was there last week. Instead of buying from a breeder, you could always look up lab rescues and save yourself a lot of money and still get a "pure bred" dog. Or a guy like this named Moose at Big Fluffy Dog rescue. :) Just a thought!

It's funny you posted this, our attorney is the owner/founder of Big Fluffy Dog. I had forgotten until you posted.

I would adopt this guy in a heartbeat just because of his size and face. The bad part is I already have 9 plus a foster cat and I am pulling in more fosters as it stands because of the stray epidemic where we live. But Moose might be a bit too hair, but what a stud muffin!

If I did not have Kasey and had more room I would adopted Moose in a heartbeat. That face just grabs ya and holds on. I hope he finds a great home soon!!!!!
