No lie, there is a young kid near me that his parents named ####head but pronounced Shetead. The h is silent.

Apparently the first day of school was quite confusing for his teacher when calling role.

The forum is blocking his name so use your imagination. :)

My wife (a teacher) had a kid one year named Diamante....yep....named after the Mitsubishi....

Some teachers my wife worked with swear they had a kid in a summer camp named Vaginal Delight. It was a few days after I heard this story that I realized the poor kid's initials would be V.D.

I laughed harder at the above than I did the name.

I knew a couple that had an unexpected third child, and they named it Lastun, because it was the last 'un they were gonna have. I think the kid goes by his middle name.

My Aunt (also a teacher) had twin brothers named Orangejello and Lemonjello. Think hillbilly French pronunciation.

A friend's wife works in the neonatal unit of a hospital. She says it's practically daily that some couple names their kid Neveah or something like that thinking is so cute and original. The nurses are like yeah, you're only the 4th one this week.

Her best story is a couple who wanted to name their daughter Deliverytruck. Pronounced del-li-vee-trik. The nurse took the paperwork and made it halfway down the hall before turning around.  She walked back into the room and said "it's your business if you want that beautiful little girl to go through life named delivery truck, but I'm not putting my name on the paperwork. I'll just leave this here so you can think about it and maybe ask someone else to file it for you."  They changed their mind, and thanked her the next day.
