I had mentioned this possibility to my wife an episode or so ago as the possibility. We've seen the huge bears and elephants in the White Walkers army...so what about the dragon?

Would it continue to breathe fire then? Or could it throw blasts of ice or super cold air to freeze others?

Maybe we'll find out now.

The previews for next week look pretty good.  I agree that it sucks that they are only doing 7 episodes.  I wonder how long till the final 7 episodes?

This was a theory I heard a while back.  Think of the final ariel battle....dany and jon vs the night king.  That would be epic.

My wife came in last night saying the rumor where she worked was that each final episode was to be "movie length". Don't know where that came from.

This past weekend's episode was an hour fifteen.   This weekend's finale is supposed to be an hour and a half.   So it wouldn't surprise me.

Guy I met who works on the show told me that this season and next season are shorter, but the budget for these seasons are the same as the budgets for the 10-episode seasons -- so, more content and more spectacle per episode.
