How about that juicy transition to the pot pie scene?

What pot pie scene?   I saw up until GreyWorm getting some and then got distracted by something.

Go back and watch.  It's just about the most disgusting thing ever aired.

I was trying to make a pervy joke about Missandei being ridiculously hot.

I saw it.  It was terrible.  I gagged a little.

This weeks episode certainly didn't disappoint.  Probably one of the best for dialogue combined with action I can remember since Season 2's Blackwater.

I was up in the air on it.  Two things 1) I did love how they FINALLY started pulling the entire show together as far as a battle for the kingdoms, but there was so little action for the first 50 minutes of the show 2) the last 10 minutes were awesome.

Yep. It was definitely an exciting conclusion last night! Where does that leave the Ironborn now? Is that Yara hanging from the prow? Will Theon survive?

In regards to Daenerys and her planned use of the fleet...what's next?

And how to you expect the meeting with Jon Snow and the Mother of Dragons to go?

I personally don't care for Jon Snow, and would rather see Daenerys on the Iron Throne than Jon Snow. So maybe a showdown between Sansa and Daenerys in the upcoming episodes?

And what about Little Arya? The meeting with her ex Direwolf could get really interesting. Of course the once sweet little girl turned blood thirsty killer could be in the mix for the throne as well.

Just some of my GOT thoughts for the evening.

My big question is this: of the select few who knew the fleet was sailing to Dorne, who snitched to Euron Greyjoy about it? Allowing him to attack.

Game of Thrones doesn't kill characters like Yara in the background.  They are up front about it.

True, would lessen the drama from it. So...what about the 3 daughters of Ellaria? Were all 3 killed? I'll have to watch again to see.

He has no idea. He still thinks he is a bastard. Brandon will be the one to tell him who his parents really are and that they were married. That means he has a stronger claim to the iron throne than Daemerys does.

I say Sam spills the beans.  He's got to be on the way back North to his best friend.

I think Sam or Gilly will provide the validation for Bran's story and use the book to cement the truth.  Also, Littlefinger might be involved also; he might be facing execution and try to use his knowledge as leverage, only to have Bran and Sam steal his thunder.

Possibly but I don't think the manuscript Gilly read mentioned names, just the anullment.

She mentioned Rheagar, although as I remember her pronunciation was a bit off ....

That's right. She said his name but not who he married.

Yep, but I think we can guess pretty accurately. :)

And I wonder how much of that is because Sam cut her off.

I'm assuming that after Bran has creeped everyone out with his new ability, they will accept when he tells them that Jon is Rhaegar and Lyanna's kid, but the book will be key to convincing everyone that Jon is not a bastard and is in fact a legitimate heir to the throne.  Maybe Howland Reed will show up just for good measure.  Having a dragon lick Jon in the face will convince the other half of the equation, probably.

I suspect something will happen to demonstrate that Jon, like Danerys, is immune to fire.  This will prove his Targaryen lineage.

My bet is one of the dragons will ultimately make the confirmation.  The first time he hops on a dragon and flies will pretty much make the counter argument moot ...

If you remember the first season, Jon very much got burned by the oil lamp he had to grab and throw onto the wight.  Part of Dany's is she never felt the burning of the hot dragon eggs in Season 1.

In the books, they explain that not all Targaryen's are immune to fire, but some were.

Did not recall this.  Thanks for the reminder.

That was before he rose from the dead though...
