So your job is to make roads, from start to finish. Why would you build a road to last 100 years, you do not. You build them to last for a few months to a year so you can make repairs and after a short time, you get to start over and make even more money on you lack of road building skills.

Go think about that for a bit.

Always reminds me of one of my favorite Dukes of Hazzard episodes.

Boss Hogg awards the contract to pour new sidewalks for the town to Hogg Cement Co and he warranties the concrete for 1 year.
He has dynamite poured in with the concrete and on day 366 he blows up the sidewalks and awards himself the contract again.  😄
