:) Did you get the plain or black?

The plain. I find it much more aesthetically pleasing than the black. Something about wooden toys looking like wood just strikes me as right.

Whelp, that post just cost me $94.

I would get one as well but I’m not going to spend $94 to get in more trouble than I usually am because the only thing I’d do with it is shoot my wife in the fanny.

American fanny, right? I hope so, otherwise you’d really be in trouble. 🤣🤣

I am a bit smarter, I would shoot the cats. Wait, is that smarter?

I don't discriminate, I'd shoot the cat, my wife, and the kids.

Brother-in-law has a similar setup in the bed of his truck. It runs wheel well width, and about 3-4 foot in length, and think about 6" in depth.

It's a commercial product, sort of costly if I remember his comments.

It's really nice, well built, and supposedly "waterproof".

If I can catch up with him, I'll try to get some info on it.

Lots of people make bed organizers like that.   But the one in the picture is under the rear seat and I've not found anything that looks like it.  I really do think its a custom project.

Heard a fellow telling about his pickup mod at a gun shop a few years back. Full custom install but he had a sunroof style headliner put in his truck but no sunroof. When you slide the panel back to expose the sunroof he had storage for a  long gun, several handguns and lots of magazines. Would have love to see it but since I was just eavesdropping I didn't ask.

I'm not a fan of leaving weapons in vehicles even if they are locked up. I used to work with a lot of Police Officers and they tell me that the vast majority of stolen gun reports they do, the gun was stolen out of a vehicle. Its just a bad idea.
