I need some wisdom from you guys.........guess i better just buy a new rifle ? .to get back in hunting action lol..

Sorry for wording......I was wondering if you guy's could tell me if its a Remington 700 or winchester model 70 bolt  (old style) post 64..  yes safety lever is on bolt assembly ..

Looks like a Win bolt, at least that is what mine looked like.  I seem to recall there was something etched on mine, a SN maybe?

I have a 1966 Winchester 70.  I will take some pics of the bolt tonight and see if they match up.

Yes...this one does as well....its post 64 long action...30-o6.  I realize headspace would need checked but it will not even fit in receiver...the rifle.its a post 64 as well ..1977 make.....thats why im lost lol....I would buy another rifle before spending 500+ for a new bolt and fitting headspace....just needed to ask yall

I appreciate the help with the pics ...I guess I will have to part it out...just thought i would give it a shot when i come across this bolt online ..I lost on this one...can win them all lol...

Stock looks fair with the ebony....I think i might just have to invest in the model 70 supergrade that fn makes now :)

Yes....I was gunna just part it out till I come across this bolt.....now i am back to parting it out ..can win them all haha.

I understand. Like you I am puzzled that you can't get a bolt easily. If you do eBay, looks like the stocks are selling for $60 to $100 or so.

MGW is the only place i could find that has what i would need..the bolt is 490.00 then they charge to fit it....I didn't lose to bad...I might make someones day in the future :) I mostly just helped a co-worker out without him feeling a need to repay me....that matters more then me whining about no bolt lol

When i got my hands on it...It turned out to be a Winchester 70.....Co-worker not a gun guy did not know what he had when asked me for help
