A fine example of having skills beats throwing money at a solution more often than not.  

Not that I have some magical skills, but I am cheap as hell.  :lol:

I will agree it is a neat course and looks like a lot of fun, but I think the 2x4 stock looks worse than it actually is.  There is a guy we shoot competitions with who has been testing a completely free floated action with very good success.  That is what this looks like to me.  He uses a barrel clamp in the stock (his is actually a plywood contraption) and lets the rest of the rifle action free float.  He actually has no stock on the back of his.

The guy above is also using a 52C, maybe the most accurate factory rimfire ever made.  Yes, he still needs to be able to read the wind and I am sure he is a good shot, but this probably isn't as crazy of setup as most might realize.  

I would love to take a shot at the course, looks like a lot of fun.
